Aliza's debut LP, Eyes Wide Shut (2022), takes listeners on an eight-track journey, experimenting with diverse sounds and styles. The album is a dynamic exploration of her artistry, from the theatrical rock of “Exhale”, produced by JUNO-nominated producer, Enoch Attey (Cikwes), which delves into themes of anxiety; to the vivid storytelling of “John 4” and the peaceful harmonies and baseline by Bubby Lewis (Jhene Aiko) in her most popular track, “Escape”. “Eyes Wide Shut is a collection of moments in my life where I disconnected to ignore the reality I couldn’t handle at the time,” Aliza reflects. “My follow-up project will represent the creation of the reality I want to live in.”
